TEHRAN – President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday that he will attend the parliament at the due time to respond to questions posed by a number of lawmakers, ISNA reported.

In a message to Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, Rouhani said asking questions from the president could be “fortunate” provided that the questions would be in conformity with the constitution and at the right time.

He added that while none of the two conditions are met, he will attend the parliament in order to avoid any division between the two branches of government and to show his respect to the parliament.

The president further said he’s planning to benefit from the occasion by speaking honestly to the nation about some matters.
